About Export Assistance And Schemes

The Export Promotion Bureau was established by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 1999 for promoting exports from the State of U.P. The objective of the EPB ia to take effective steps for Export Promotion in Coordination with all the Government Departments for the Exporters. It interacts with exporters on the one hand and Export Promotion Councils, Agencies, Export Associations, State & Central Governmant bodies on the other hand. The Bureau assists exporters in export procedure and coordinates for various facilities and assistance offered by the State & Central Agencies.

Fiscal Incentives

Rs. 100/- (Renewal for 5 years)		 Reg. for 5 yrs on filling form available on EPB website www.epbupindia.com or from DIC/EPB office. It is valid for 5 years in the first instance. Reg/Renewal grant on the same day if all formalities are complete

GOLD/SILVER CARD
Silver Card Registration in EPB CA/Bank certified export turnover more than RS. 20 lacs, less than Rs. 50 lacs p.a. New Rs. 200/- Renewal Rs. 100/- Vaild for two years
Gold Card Registration in EPB CA/Bank certified export turnover more than RS. Rs. 50 lacs p.a. New Rs. 500/- Renewal Rs. 300/- Vaild for two years
MARKETING SUPPORT
Foreign Fairs/Exhibition MSME Exporter reg. with EPB and concern DIC 60% of Stall charges paid upto max. of Rs. 100000/- for one fair/exhibition Air fare 50% by economy class max. upto Rs. 50000/- per fair for one person.
Publicity advt., printing of catalogue & development of website MSME Exporter reg. with EPB and concern DIC 60% of total cost of Expenditure maximum upto Rs. 60000/- annually.
Samples to foreign buyers MSME Exporter reg. with EPB and concern DIC 75% of total expenses on air freight courier for sending samples max. assistance upto Rs. 50000/- per year
Facility for obtaining ISO 9001-2000/BIS 14000, Wool mark, Hall mark, HACCP & C-mark MSME Exporter reg. with EPB and concern DIC 50% of total expenses max. upto Rs. 75000/- per year
SUBSIDY ON FREIGHT CHARGES UPTO GATE WAY PORT
Export Cargo sent by ICD/CFS SSI Exporter reg. with EPB and concern DIC 25% of freight charges maximum upto Rs. 5000/- per container (20ft) is admissible to exporting units to send their goods by State ICD/CFS to the gateway port. This amount is sanctioned by the district users committee chaired by D.M. of the concerned district.
SUBSIDY ON EXPORT CARGO SENT BY AIR
Export Cargo sent by Air Cargo Complex in U.P. (Amausi, Lucknow and Babatpur, Varanasi) SSI Exporter and Merchant Exporter with EPB and concern DIC 20% of freight charges or 50/- per Kg. which ever is less. Maximum RS. 2.00 lacs per unit per year.
STATE EXPORT AWARD
State Export Award 25 Specified category State Export Award is given by Govt of U.P. tp Outstanding exporters of the State in 25 categories Application form ia available with GMDIC office/ EPB office/ EPB website.
Assistance to States for Development of Export Infrastructure and Allied Activities. (ASIDE) Project directly related to development of export infrastructure are sanctioned by SLEPC Export infrastructure projects are sanctioned by State level export promotion committee chaired by Chief Secretary U.P. Projects in Public Private Partnership mode are encouraged.
Export Guidance and Information to members Any Person/agency interested in export
Exporter Capacity Building:- Any Person willing to export Workshop/Seminars on various Topics like WTO Design Development, Currency Management, Custom Procedures, Incentives etc. are organized in association with Apex Trade/Industry bodies in U.P.

2. Training under various Topics related to exports
Export Information Study, Surveys and Brand Promotion:- Any Person/agency interested in export EPB office provides Trade Information about export products, markets, demand, competitor countries, potentials sources to seek Buyers, Fairs etc. GI Registration for Exported Goods is being undertaken.
